Laura is actually someone I had the pleasure of meeting in person last week! She is so nice and very fun. We met up with another sewist, Joy, and went fabric shopping all over Los Angeles. She blogs over at A Make It Yourself Mom’s Diary. Hopefully I will get a chance to meet up with her again soon.
Right now I am blogging from my hotel room in New York!! There are some epic meetups planned with a gaggle of people (Lladybird, Clare, Oona, Carolyn, Betsy, Sonja, Devra, Sown Brooklyn, and that’s just off the top of my head, there are more!)…dinner/drinks/fabric shopping so expect tons of instagram/twitter coming your way! And yes, I brought an empty suitcase with for the fabric I plan to buy…I did this in London and bought more than fit…hopefully I can stay within my one extra suitcase this time
